INTEGRATION / SENTRY
When a Sentry spike is really an incident
A deploy goes out, a new TypeError starts climbing, and Sentry sends alert after alert. Often the developer who shipped it quietly starts fixing it alone, while support is already fielding tickets. Incident Lake opens an incident from the Sentry alert, groups the related alerts, and moves the conversation into a Slack or Teams thread where the team can see who is leading and what has been decided.

FAQ
Will Incident Lake change issue state in Sentry?
No. The Sentry connection is read-only. Triage, assignment and resolution in Sentry stay with your developers.
Can the fix be tracked in Jira?
Yes, if an admin enables task sync. Incident tasks can then create issues in Jira, Backlog or ServiceNow and keep status in step. Sentry itself stays read-only either way.
We're on Microsoft Teams, not Slack.
That's fine. Slack and Teams are both first-class.
