INTEGRATION / DATADOG
From Datadog monitor to coordinated response, in the thread
Datadog tells you something is wrong. Then someone has to open the incident, paste graphs into Slack, figure out who owns it and keep notes. Incident Lake opens the incident from the monitor, attaches the Datadog context, and lets the agent pull what it needs, read-only, while your team makes the calls.

What it does
- Opens incidents from monitor alerts
- Groups related alerts and links them as related resources
- Lets the agent query Datadog read-only during the response
- Detects recovery times and watches for recurrence
- Feeds the postmortem draft
What it does not do
- Edit monitors or dashboards
- Set severity or resolve on its own
- Page on-call engineers (keep your paging tool for that)

FAQ
Does Incident Lake write to Datadog?
No. The Datadog connection is read-only.
We also use Sentry and Grafana.
Connect them too, along with Instana, Rollbar, Zabbix and Outlook alert mailboxes. The number of monitoring connections depends on your plan.
Does each monitor map to a severity?
The agent suggests one; a person confirms it.
